New International Version
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

Let him/her actualize the idea by starting with the little that is available, Seek for help from friends, apply for grant from government if there is that room or any other method .Whichever come first.

I believe yes, it’s something to worry about.(Without much explanation?)

Praise be to God. The long waited Kenya Care drive is here.
We anticipate God’s Grace will dominate the entire activity .God bless you as you continue to remember us in prayer.

In one photo, a Maasai couple together with their three kids. This mother can’t afford a balanced diet for their young children.
(Inside a house) One old man sleeping while another (seated with a walking stick) confesses that they haven’t ate anything yet, a reflection of the condition in many of their community members.
-
So.. yesterday was our turn to do some site survey in an impromptu visit to our Maasai families living a few kilometers from Nairobi City. This was to help us understand what await us in our care drive in Kenya, …..and Guess what!
-Nobody seem to care about this community. Sometimes, the Maasai people walk for long distances and the assumption is, this’ got something to do with their culture. It’s a fallacy!
It’s something to do with their economic status.
-It was painful to find an Old man sleeping at mid-day because during the night he’s a watchman at some place.
-They live on their own. Nobody, not even an organized group ,or a church has ever thought of visiting a Maasai family.
-Many of them exist on 1 meal in a day.
-Young children are fed on anything that come on their way. They look terribly malnourished. This mother just told us that her child’s diet is Ugali(mixture of maize flour and water) served with hot salty water as stew.
-They sleep on the floor!
……………………..
Let’s put a smile on such people, and in return, we shall not lack!
Prayer for needy families.
