In a world where young people are daily destroying and wasting their lives with mostly drugs.

I was able to ask some how and why they’re started doing drugs and most of them said I noticed was due to idleness and they said they’re no jobs and they can’t afford paying to learn some skills mostly the girls.

In 2022,I met someone with a proposal of financing a kind of skill acquisition for the youths(both gender).

    I am a certified baker,I specialize in baking cakes, making different pastries,like meatpie,fishpie,egg roll,samosa’s doughnut,chin chin,peanut,buns,puff puff etc.

I thought of getting specialist in other skills, like sewing, makeup, hat making, shoe making, bag making and bead making.

The intention was to train different communities at a speculated time and I went to some of the communities in Cross River State Nigeria and did some surveys and I discovered that it’s not just the youth who needs this but also some young widows and I included them in the plan.

Most of the tutors where reached out to and they agreed to teach for a fee, I drew an estimate and presented to our sponsor for three communities each community having 50 beneficiary but unfortunately the sponsor opted out and the project was abandoned.

It’s has always been my dream that youths are equipped with all the skills they need to strive in this world of today.

Yes,I thought of that and I planned on organizing for 20(15 young girls and 5 widows) this year. But I will limit it to just baking and confectionery for a start.

I know it will get better and bigger.
