Let Go of Anxiety & Live A Positive Life Today!

Anxiety is the fear of an unknown future that grips us.
We deeply desire to have control, and we foresee scenarios playing in our heads, whether good or bad. The subject of anxiety is real and present in the lives of so many and a few have dealt with issues of mental illness, and knowing how desperately victims of anxiety wish to be freed from the chains that bind them. Anxiety is becoming a growing epidemic amongst young people. As such, we need to address it boldly knowing that anxiety and depression are not from God, and there is an urgent need to pray for the freedom of its victims and implement safe counseling environments to assist.
Anxiety is vicious and unforgiving and its effects are lasting and enslaving. However, we believe there is a solution to the root cause of the anxiety within us and if we speak positive affirmations then we are heading to a journey of positive growth filled with great discovery. More often we face anxiety as a result of lacking to trust God in some area of our lives. Most of the times we are trying so hard to control our future, and our lives, as a result, anxiety camps comfortably in the backwoods of our minds. The truth is, God did not create us to live in anxiety, worry or fear. He equipped and empowered us to live higher than that, John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” Trusting in the Lord with your whole heart squashes anxiety and speaking positive affirmations will lighten our load.
God speaks to us everyday and says: “Trust me”, “Cast your cares on me”. Consciously and decisively give me your worries and burdens and fears. Trust that I know and I care and I will provide. Trust that my plans and my ways are greater than yours. Believe what I say is true.”
We may have heard it a lot of times but it is worth it to keep trusting him. Don’t grow weary. Don’t stop. Don’t stray. He hasn’t forgotten about you. Trust God in your weakness. Trust him in your strength. Trust him with what you can’t control. Trust him with what you can’t see. Trust him with every part of you. Trust him to the ends of the earth, just trust him. God’s affirmations make us stronger and his promises are activated when we affirm them and believe in them. What better way to do this by repeating affirmations entirely inspired by the Bible? When we are overwhelmed and we speak the affirmation that we are sufficient in God as revealed by 2 Corinthians 3: 5 “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God” we get to experience a positive vibe in our lives and that is a path to positive living. We are strong and courageous and even when we are at the lowest point in our lives, we will speak “Proverbs 8:35” to remind and give us assurance of how great God is and that He is always with us wherever we go.
Whether you’ve been praying for freedom or just now realizing that you haven’t surrendered control. This one’s for you, just trust God radically. Trust him when it doesn’t make sense. Trust him when it’s falling apart, trust him on the mountaintop, trust His ways over yours, his plans before yours, and his ideas instead of yours. Trust in His promises. When a situation comes up that triggers anxiety, pray and tell God “I trust you with this.” And simply let it go. For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled, 2 Corinthians 10:3-6.
When we put everything in God’s hands and speak all the positive affirmations and promises God made to us. We are putting an end to anxiety and starting a journey to positive growth in our lives. We just have to rest in the knowledge of who God is and in his reassurance of how he loves us. He put everything positive inside us that we needed, when he gave us Jesus Christ.
