Why do we have so many churches today and what’s the impact in Christianity?
Recall in the new testament that the apostles moved from city to city winning souls and planting churches for Christ without necessary giving a particular name to the churches, rather the name the churches according to the city. e.g. The church in Antioch, The church in Philippines, The Church in Ethiopia, etc.
What brought about having different church names that has brought disparity and enmity and division in the body of Christ? According to some church doctrines, its a sin to visit or attend an event in another church especially for the Pastors. This leave me with this question, Are we truly serving the same God?
