For some of us in Liberia, we are into Agricultural Activities and Peace Building initiatives in kakata city, Margibi county.

Our organization name is Creative Agriculture Wealth Builder of Liberia and we look forward for support, partnership and to make more impactful contributions to our beloved country Mama Liberia and the world at large.

For me, I intend to accelerate my commitment to soul winning and evangelism. Moreso, using my resources to help few teenagers around me in furthering their education as much as I can.

That’s amazing! Have you already identified the two learners for the scholarship, or are you planning an application process? And on the academic side, what’s the next level for you—another degree, certification, or something else?

As an Electrical Engineer, I want to keep empowering the young ones with my skills and expertise. There’s no white collar job in my country and Electrical installation is a valuable skill that’s in high demand, Presently, I’m training two persons hope to add 8 person before September this year… So help God 🙏

    All I want is to:

✓ Give back to my community and society at large.

✓ Create a positive impact on the lives of others.

✓ Develop the next generation of skilled professionals

✓Address the skills gap in my community and the society at large

✓Create employment opportunities for young people

✓Contribute to the development of my country’s infrastructure…

That’s a solid plan! 🙌 Training young people in electrical installation is an excellent idea. Have you faced any challenges with resources or getting trainees fully equipped? Maybe someone here can offer ideas on tools, funding, or partnerships to expand your reach.

My goal has always been to touch lives and put smiles on the faces of the homeless on kids on the street, by visiting them once or twice a week with the little I have, this will certainly grant me inner peace ✌️

That’s such a beautiful mission! 🧡 Seeing smiles on kids’ faces is priceless. Are you planning to work with any local shelters or organizations, or do you go directly to the streets? Maybe we can help brainstorm ways to make this effort even bigger!

Yeah , I need tools funding to scale up my operations, increase productivity, or expand my services.

Like I don’t have the necessary funds to purchase or acquire some of the required tools, equipment, or software. Because certain tools or equipment are expensive, making it challenging for me to afford them.

I also need Partnerships because this can provide access to specialized knowledge, skills, or expertise that may not be available in-house.

I also think Partnership can help me increase capacity, allowing me to take on more persons for the training. And this can provide opportunities to connect with other professionals, organizations, or industries, potentially leading to new collaborations or business opportunities.

In a world where young people are daily destroying and wasting their lives with mostly drugs.

I was able to ask some how and why they’re started doing drugs and most of them said I noticed was due to idleness and they said they’re no jobs and they can’t afford paying to learn some skills mostly the girls.

In 2022,I met someone with a proposal of financing a kind of skill acquisition for the youths(both gender).

    I am a certified baker,I specialize in baking cakes, making different pastries,like meatpie,fishpie,egg roll,samosa’s doughnut,chin chin,peanut,buns,puff puff etc.

I thought of getting specialist in other skills, like sewing, makeup, hat making, shoe making, bag making and bead making.

The intention was to train different communities at a speculated time and I went to some of the communities in Cross River State Nigeria and did some surveys and I discovered that it’s not just the youth who needs this but also some young widows and I included them in the plan.

Most of the tutors where reached out to and they agreed to teach for a fee, I drew an estimate and presented to our sponsor for three communities each community having 50 beneficiary but unfortunately the sponsor opted out and the project was abandoned.

It’s has always been my dream that youths are equipped with all the skills they need to strive in this world of today.

That’s an incredible vision, Blessing. Equipping young people and widows with skills is a direct way to fight unemployment and the cycle that leads many to drugs.

It must have been tough seeing the project stall after all that planning. Have you considered breaking it into smaller phases? Sometimes, starting with a few trainees and showing impact can attract more sponsors.

Yes,I thought of that and I planned on organizing for 20(15 young girls and 5 widows) this year. But I will limit it to just baking and confectionery for a start.

I know it will get better and bigger.
