Coronavirus Wash Stations
Posted by Ongechi Okioma on March 21, 2020 at 7:39 AMI want to create wash points in my community for the people to be able to wash hands to compact this pandemic of Corona. Am looking for a partner to donate sanitizers and washing taps. God bless you all

Sounds like a good idea, however wash points can be breeding ground for the virus. You would need protective gear and a way to maintain some order as there could be a mass rush if the virus spreads leading to many other problems. I recommend distributing sanitizers with masks etc. Or partnering with local government to organize and supply protection gear.

Hi Ongechi, I think most countries are running out and there is a lot of price gauging going on. Take a look at this great lesson on making sanitizers at home– perhaps it could help

Hi Ongechi, The Faithflows team and faith partners are working on sending some sanitizers and PPEs to a few countries this month. Want to know if you succeeded in creating your distribution point. We would like to distribute in Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon…

I tried but never was successful. If you can consider to help through your initiative we will be glad. What do I need to do for such a consideration?
I will nominate an health facility in my hometown called OGEMBO GENERAL HOSPITAL.
