Definitely…China has been gaining upper hand in most African countries and the leaders of these countries are too weak or gullible to resist their goodies.

I think it a function of Some greedy and unpatriotic leaders we have in the country. Some are regrettably unwise with no plans whatsoever. Talk more of having understanding of what exactly they are doing

It’s so unfortunate, but that’s the reality. We have an opportunity to change the tide, by applying our right to vote in good leaders wisely and even groom ourselves intentionally to be good leaders who will not compromise or sell the treasure in Africa over a plate of choking porridge.

Question that will never leave my mind on this topic is what plan has Africa for their resources?
-
That’s another thought for concern, wherein African countries have no strategic or deliberate plans to harness and utilize their vast resources especially her young population, other smarter countries are gradually drawing away this resource to their own benefit.

When will finish paying it’s debt to China? What are the consequences for defaulters?
-
For every loan taken, is there a specific time required to repay but sadly, during the period before payment of the loans, you service the debts which even consume than the actual loan taken.
There are cases where failure to pay at the expiration of time granted, these countries claim the collaterals given by the borrowing nations. These collaterals are usually treasured national assets.
