Yes it is.I’m sure you’ve witnessed how such people behave after taking alcohol.

Everything we take is good but when we abuse it,it becomes a sin

Although the Bible does not say alcohol is a sin, it advises against it because it can impair our judgement… much like what happened to Noah in Genesis when he got drunk and passed out and the ensuing consequences.
Ephesians 5:18
Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,Even if you use caution to avoid getting drunk, alcohol is addictive…many use to numb problems in place of prayers, so I say avoid drinking so you don’t consume excess.

Now this is excellent. I want to agree with you in entirety.Thankyou!

Drink but don’t get drunk, when u get drunk, it has become a sin, even food we eat, when u mis use the food we eat, u have sin as well

I am a living witness to that fact that alcohol is addictive. Since I entered university and I was introduced to alcohol because of presentation all through out my stay in university each time there’s presentation I have to take it or else I’ll entirely perform poorly. So alcohol in general is not good for human consumption.

Sin is defined in the Bible as “lawlessness” or, as the J.B. Phillips translation puts it, “Everyone who commits sin breaks God’s law, for that is what sin is, by definition—a breaking of God’s law” (1 John 3:4). So we need to ask if God created a law forbidding the use of alcohol. If so, then we could easily conclude that drinking alcohol is a sin.
There are a handful of scriptures that some people believe do exactly that. Let’s look at a few examples:
- Proverbs 20:1 says, “Wine is a mocker, strong drink is a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.”
- 1 Timothy 3:8 says, “Likewise deacons must be reverent, not double-tongued, not given to much wine.”
- Isaiah 5:11 says, “Woe to those who rise early in the morning, that they may follow intoxicating drink; who continue until night, till wine inflames them!”
- Sin has no special definition… Sin is sin and whatsoever makes you to go against God will eventually kick you out of heaven, either alcohol or drunkness or addiction or the like..
- Therefore,alcohol is sinful…
