  • Money, Banana & Monkeys. Let’s get your opinion

The richest man in China said, “If you put the bananas and money in front of the monkeys, the monkeys will choose bananas because the monkeys don’t know that money can buy a lot of bananas.

In fact, if you offer WORK and BUSINESS to people, they will choose to WORK because most people don’t know that a BUSINESS can make more MONEY than a salary.

One of the reasons the poor are poor is because the poor are not trained to recognize the entrepreneurial opportunity.

They spend a lot of time in school and what they learn in school is to work for a salary instead of working for themselves.

Profit is better than wages because wages can support you, but profits can make you a fortune.

    WHAT’S YOUR OPINION?

I totally agree with you, Sir. Teach me how to fish rather than give me fish. entrepreneurship pays far more better than white collar jobs

This is very true. However, I feel this could be contributed by various aspect and 1.The respective government should provide a level playing field to especially to starters.Starting a small business in some countries is very difficult due to heavy tax,and many licenses imposed by the government. Young people would therefore, rather, look for ways of getting monies directly other than starting a business.2.A culture has been induced into young people’s mind that education is a pathway to employment(money). The shock that strick them after school always show the big gap.Few job opportunities against thousands of graduate. They were never taught of the alternative!3.Lack mentorship- The best mentees have now coiled themselves into mentor/make money field. They have no business with those who need real mentorship as long as they cannot raise some money to pay them.In stead they look for elite mentorship program and that’s why even with the diverse mentorship activities, there is very little achievement.@Saviour,very few people/organizations will offer a free Chicken farming course just like Faithflows does.

Great points @Justo the fact remains that the government can not provide jobs to all the numerous graduates leaving school each year. From Jackma’s point of view, He does not think salaries or government jobs can make one break even; for one to breakout of poverty circle, you may need to acquire some skills and gradually venture into entrepreneurship. He (Jackma) believes business is the future. Free materials, mentorship perhaps can be made available by the government and a few private sectors. for individuals and 95% private sectors, it is their own ways of generating revenues. It is why we have to take maximum advantage of every free opportunity we see, get and harness it to yield great result – this is what faithflows is trying to establish. While trying to help the disable, less fortunate, orphans we strive to making sure young people receive the needed skills that will make them not just independent, but employers of labour. With everyone coming together from various Africa countries to support this vision, we will definitely make a great change.

This is true however, a true entrepreneur traces opportunities in every aspect, he/she never blames his family background or the environment he’s living in for his failures. He thinks analytically & is always open to a number of ideas. He must be innovative by having the ability to think newer & better…He must be creative, initiative ambitious, should take calculated risks & set clear goals.
On the other hand, a non entrepreneur will not see all that, a reason to why such people would rather take the timely money than a job.

Having a paying job is not bad ideas, but having paying job and refused to investing it is what makes you poor, another thing is not having a business idea ,like it’s popularly said u can offer what you don’t have.

Great Discussion. Various factors come into play. Example working in the US with a solid education can provide you with over a million in paid retirement. Whereas entrepreneurship may not always work leading to broke retirees. So sometimes working for others like you are working for God can also be fulfilling.
Just love what you do so your life on earth is not filled with regrets .
